If i was a fighter,i wouldn't sign with bellator...these motherfuckers are sheisty....they don't know how to run there business..they rude and cheap.

Not sure if this is off-topic or not but they gotta quit with this Tournament shit...letting champions sit on there asses and wait for a tournament to finish or do shitty ''non-title'' fights where they can risk ''exposing'' there champions, making them less legitimate champions....Seriously cut that shit especially

Basically he was talking about PPV money.

He was saying him and his team probably went in and looked at a low number that he would do on PPV and what exactly he would make, again he said his team went on the low side of things not the high side. He probably wasnt projecting doing 600k buys each event, he probably took a number half that or something.

So they took that PPV number they thought Eddie would do and how much they would make per fight and according to eddie they took that number to Bjorn and said here is what we think we will make in total per fight on a UFC PPV, a lower number actually. BJorn hung up on him.

Reality is Bjorn/Bellator are gonna slide out of this because the PPV arent guaranteed so they never have to give Eddie a fight on PPV which means he wont make near as much money as he could in the UFC. Now granted the UFC doesnt have to put him on PPv but the chances of him going 8 fights and never being on a PPV are slim to none.

But thats how Bjorn might win this in court, UFC PPV arent guaranteed, if they were then Eddie would have a better case since the UFC is a PPV company and Bellator isnt, he could def argue Bellator cant really match dollar for dollar.

I would bet the same. Prob. not close to 40% or 50% based on some of the estimates I seen a while ago. Wish they would disclose at lease some older information to prove that statement Fertitta made that they were close to this but I don't think they are near it.

cut the tournament? then there just like everybody else, Strikeforce, WEC, Affliction all got ate up by UFC

I do believe on the event side that quite often 40-50% of profit is going to the fighters of the one event more often then not.

Not profit, they were talking revenue and comparing to other major league sports with the 40% - 50% figure.

That is true..but maybe that is for the best. I really really hate the tournament system. Just my opinion..it's aggravating for me as a fan to enjoy.
