does creatine go off?

I bought a small ish tub about 2 years ago, but because I stopped training as hard I stopped using it ages ago. Now im getting ready to train again and im wondering if I should throw out the old stuff or get more? I Think its just bog standard creatine, not any fancy thing wit pre workout supps added in

Is it dry? Can you mush it back down into dry powder? If so, it's OK.

Not sure about creatine but I let some opened protein sit for bout a half year and there was lil tiny maggots in it.

Same could apply to creatine.

That picture is so accurate.

Creatine, not even once.

EDIT: TS, you're good. I've used expired creatine before when I've needed a fix, and I was fine.

I would imagine like anything, over time the nutritional value, or the potency of the supplement will deminish. To what extent I don't know, but after two years I would just throw it out and buy some new stuff. It's fairly inexpensive anyway really for the improvments it could bring you
