How long does it usually take for a deep, concentrated bruise to heal?

So lately, I've been doing MT for a few weeks now, but the problem is, I have this small but concentrated bruise on my right leg just above the shin that hurts whenever I kick with it. The bruise was from a few months back when I fell down a flight of stairs, and now whenever I do combos/sparrings, I usually don't use my right leg to kick, since it hurts. There is no swelling though; the area surrounding the bruise is darker than my skin, but otherwise the bruise itself is white. Any ideas how fast this heals?

Two years later, I still have a hard lump on my knee cap from a bruise.

I dunno if this is normal, but I've seriously had bruises on my side abdominals and legs for weeks at a time.

I got punched in the sternum once by a guy who outweighed me at 160 pounds so hard that it hurt me when I shoveled snow 6 months later. That's been my worst.

In general, leg kicks from someone who means it, who can hurt me and who lands them bare shin, usually two weeks is max. I've had shin injuries that have taken a month to heal.

The first time we did a leg and body conditioning drill, bruises were there and hurt for a week. The second time was 2 days. After that it was maybe 24 hours. I'm not with that instructor now and my current one we don't do it so I'm sure if I did it again, I'd be looking at the week all over again.

I had a shin bruise that hurt for nearly 2 months. Even with the dit da jow, ice and tiger balm and not going to MT classes, it took awhile for the pain to go away. At one point, I thought I broke my shin and got an xray. Xray showed my shine was fine.
