Add it into the contract beforehand. You get paid X since you're the champ, but if you lose, you go back down to Y. It's an incentive based contract, it can be done.

Ben doesn't make anywhere near 1 million a fight. GSP gets PPV bonuses, Bendo doesn't. Ben's on his contract that he signed before even being the #1 contender so there's no way he gets a cut of the PPV. Plus his last fight was on Fox so he wouldn't get PPV bonus anyways. McCall said the UFC sponsors you when you headline a card so there's a main event sponsorship bonus so Ben gets that, plus whatever "secret locker room bonus" Dana gives him (McCall said he got 46k for main eventing + 25k locker bonus)

I disagree, that's nonsense.... Look at every major sport. Most teams best players aren't the highest paid, that's how contracts work. When bens contract runs out and if he's still champ I'm sure he will see a HuGE increase... If he's pissed about making 39/39k he shouldn't have signed more than a 3 fight contract and made himself a free agent right around now.. Bottom line is Eddie has more market value right now than what Bendo has at the time of his contract. Eddie is also much more exciting.
