16-11 may not look that impressive, but have a look at who defeated her. Losing to Carano, LaRosa, Davis, or Tate isn't something to be ashamed of. She has faced some tough opponents, and recently Kedzie has improved considerably regarding her standup. A promoter who just watched Kedzie vs. Tate a few months ago and passes on signing Kedzie to a fight needs to have his head examined.

Seriously, that was hard to watch. You could hear the sincerity and pain in her voice when she was apologizing. She was kicking the former champ's ass most of the fight, looking more impressive than anything I'd ever seen from her, but she just made a mistake near the end. I wanted to give her a hug or something.

Nicdali Rivera-Colonoc was in the same tourney as Young/Tate? And Susie Smith looked small as well. Those days lended themselves to the "not enough fighters" label of WMMA. But Invicta could have an 8 fighter tourney in 5 different divisions these days.

Tate's weakness has always been her striking defence. She is quite hittable.

Luckily for her Kedzie's weakness is her submission defence.
