Well precisely. Anyways just watched it again and I dont know, Spong gassed after the first I guess?. Just a knockdown you were right

I remember it was the first time Spong walked to a fight weighting 105Kg, so I guess he was still getting used to the extra weight.

Yep, he overdid it...the size thing I mean. Not a good strategy there- trying to match Reem's muscles with muscle instead of using speed and techniques- the areas where he's better at

Saki takes it. He's too fast for Spong, who has bulked up a lot, but lost speed and fluidity doing so. Saki is fast and powerful as lighting. He'll land a counter ... again.

Btw did you notice Aerts had Spong hurt and as a result he spit his mouthpiece out to gain time?

You could be right about that, but we can't be sure. Aerts did threw a right hand before Spong lost the mouthpiece, but it looks like he missed. Can't be 100% sure though, because we can't see it clearly in the video. Spong didn't look like he was hurt afterwards; he continued pressuring Aerts until the end of the round.

I'd be eager to watch Spong vs Saki 2, they're two of my favorite fighters. I'm sure it would be an awesome fight regardless of who would win.

I hope kickboxing remains a healthy sport and expands into two upper weight divisions.

Spong and Saki would take the top two spots in LHW, but it would also open up opportunities for more fighters who are just a bit too light for the giants in the HW division. Manhoef might even be able to make a return to the top ten rankings in such a case.
