Legal Steroids Helps Which Athletes the Most?

If steroids were legal, athletes from which sport would benefit the most? Wrestling, soccer, football, basketball, boxing, muay thai, judo, MMA, tennis, baseball, etc.?

Wrestling would bump you up weight classes so I'm not sure how much it would help at all. Football is an obvious choice. In boxing although the HW division has no limit in weight I would think lots of muscle would slow you down, as with striking in general even though Reem won the K-1 championship.

Also, which athlete specifically would benefit the most from steroids (that may not actually be taking them already)? Struve still has weight room before he has to cut to 265. Jones could make a smooth transition to HW. Anderson...no clue lol. Maybe he would crush the HW division with steroids (not that he wouldn't have success up there already)?

You have no clue how steroids work.

Not everyone responds to these compounds the same and they don't all produce the same effects. Just because you're on them doesn't mean you can't still compete within a certain weight class, or that you're bound to put on 40lbs of muscle. What makes them so important is their help in recovery and training frequency.
You can push harder, for longer and more often with a reduced risk of injury.

^.

Also, I think it's a mistake to think that most elite athletes don't already use simply because the compounds are illegal.

I was giving an example of anabolic steroids. What you are referring to are metabolic steroids.
