He has a chance against everybody else just by virtue of his horsemeat, but he has to win quick or he will gas and lose (unless somebody flops around like Werdum did). He's definitely a top 5 or so guy, but kind of stuck there, a bit like Mir. Bad matchups with the top three.
Wow. You know stuff most fighters don't even know till they faced off yet. Well done. You must be able to look into the future.

Of course that's my opinion, based on what I've seen of them before. I think Reem is an ok bet at 3.8 or 4 or so vs Cain or Cormier, and maybe 2.8 vs JDS. But they'd have to fight (duh) for us to know for sure.

Let's hope he can piss clean for a while eh?

Him and bigfoot. Bigfoot was caught in the past aswell. People seem to have forgot all about that though (including himself it seems, lol).

Anyway. I don't think he's crazy enough to use now but you never know. But I ain't he one to judge. I just found out almost every single person that said they weren't using dope while bicycling were doing dope. I've never faced people at the highest level of any sport. I think it sucks they put their body at stake. Don't think dope makes you a better fighter by the way. In bicycling it's different.

As for Overeem. I think he brings more danger to Cain than for instance JDS. Overeem is more complete as a fighter. People here underestimate the level of kickboxing at K1/It's ShowTime/Glory. Those fighters are beasts. That combined with improved TDD I think he can cause trouble for every heavyweight and not just a punchers chance. Me personally I am wondering if his tank will improve without the dope. I think it will. Also for the first time in his life he's training in America full time, which makes you a much better fighter than just training in Holland/Thailand.

We just have to wait and see. I honestly don't know what Reem we will see next. Just hope he beats Silva. And I do think he has a chance against Cain, it's just a question how good is his tank. The longer the fight lasts the less chance I give him. Difference with JDS is that Overeem is a defensive stand up fighter, so Cain can come in. Also he's much better in the clinch. I'd dare to say he's the best in the clinch (in the HW). Cain is way more durable. Just hope that fight happens (if he wins) and after that JDS. If he loses against bigfoot they will immediately give him JDS I think.

List your top 10 heavyweight fighters in 2004.

Then admit you're just ignorant.

I think he means Werdum beating Fedor who was 1# HW for 5 years. Reem beat him in his next fight.

I remembered, I just don't think we'll see him challenging the top three, two of whom have already crushed him real quick.

I don't think it makes you a better fighter either, but at HW it can put you closer to the top of the weight class, and it sure as hell helps people recover from injuries (which are very common in MA training).

I disagree. JDS has better TDD, and better mobility, if you ask me. Overeem is obviously a good kickboxer, but I think he gets worn out and worn down in a hurry by Cain. No way he'd last 5 rounds. It would look more like Cain - Bigfoot, unless he lands an early Hail Mary.

He has a great clinch game when he can overpower guys and isn't backed up. Cain and Cormier have much better technique and would definitely back him up. Clinch would be disaster for him vs them. It might be a good tactic vs JDS though if he could catch him and hold onto him (which I doubt).

Basically, he's too slow for the top three, considering his style.
