k1 global will probably fold.....the event they held in greece looked really shitty, apart from the fighters......their MAX division is pretty nice
but the 8 fighters you posted.........aren't worthy of a k1 wgp line up......weakest fight card for k1 heavies ever
k1 should just leave and let their legacy intact........cult status like Pride

I agree. But the problem with the last event in Greece was just that, GREECE, they are in crisis and they are not a big kickboxing market, they should have chosen Japan, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy or IDK, but not Greece, the fighters were there mate, they were top notch.
In the other hand you have this HW GP with shitty fighters compared to the one Glory made that had every top kickboxer competing nowadays.
Glory is the future, we know that, but it would be nice if K-1 could make a comeback, at least in the lower classes.

I wish Glory would buy the K1 name just because the history behind it. There is no comparison in terms of the talent in the HWs between Glory and K1 today.

It was definitely a good event with the problem being they booked an arena that was too big!
Same thing with LA.
Would love to see K1 make a comeback because of the history, etc. The good news is the SK guys took over operations and that should lead to smarter business decisions.
Even though the talent level is not equal to Glory's, you are going to get good fights with guys like Morosanu and Edwards and Hesdy in there!

It"s not enough the Superkombat to take over operations. K-1, you better invest money in grandiose shows!

With a final 8 like that, who really cares.
Majority of the best talent is in Glory.

You cannot compare as we live in a new reality now, with two rival promotions. That has never been the case in the past. I think it should be a fun tournament.

A lot of fans would beg to differ. Put guys like Morosanu, Ben Edwards, and Hesdy in the ring and more often than not you are going to get an entertaining fight.
Morosanu is excitement guaranteed. He reminds me of former light heavyweight champ Marvin "Pops" Johnson- a guy whose style will lead to an exciting fight almost every time.
