we can get big mule deer up north, just harder to come by and takes a good deal of traveling from my home to their grounds. mostly around me are smaller black tailed deer (100-140lbs).

still well worth it though, you can get 60-70 lbs of meat off of a large buck.

That sucks. We have almost a 6 month season. Although I only have 1 in the freezer so far. I have a few weeks to get my last 3.
