Creams/Pills that can be bought in store to fight Staph Infection?

i wasnt sure if i have minor staph infection on my hand, but i wanted to buy something just to be safe. My insurance is real bad.. so i was wondering if it was possible to buy any creams/pills in store just to get rid of staph infection?

Just go to the emergency room. You're gambling with your life. Don't worry about the bill. They have to treat you first and if you can't pay later, don't pay.

I've never heard of any pills\creams u can get over the counter. I've dealt with staph on multiple occasions and can tell u it's no joke. I got it training and thought I could treat it myself boy was I wrong. Ended up having to have surgery. They cut a huge hole in my leg that took months to heal. I stopped training bc I just couldn't stand the thought of dealing with it again. If thats what u have u need an antibiotic and they usually give u an abtibiotic cream as well. Several of my friends that train have gotten it and unchecked it went bad for all of us. Trust me when I tell u that u cannot be to careful. Hope this help

ic guys im head to the emergency to get it checked out. i just wish they could prescribe me it anyways if i have it or not. i dont want to wait in a room for hours. i rather have it rdy wit me than not. but yeah i see your guys points. I really hate it when people dont clean up themselves... im always tryna stay clean so i dont get those things.

I have had staph twice. Once I had to go to the doctor and the other time I said F it because I dont want to fill my body with a bunch of pills. I ended up taking a really hot rag to staph area. It finally came to a small like pimple head ... I poked it with a needle and PULLED ... not squeezed ... the skin away and it drained. Alot of people make the mistake of thinking a small bump is a pimple and they squize the shit out of it. Nothing comes out and it hurts like hell. They wake up the next day and have a serious staph infection.

With that being said it is always safer to go to a doctor ...

I also use Tea Tree Oil from a natural store. After I train I apply it all over my body. Well not my face because it does dry out your skin, but tea tree oil has been know to help fight staph and MRSA. Any time I see a small bump that looks like a pimple ... even on my face ... i take a Q tip and dip it in tea tree oil and then place it on the red dot. Normally drys out within a day or two ... or it forms a pimple head and I just poke it with a needle. Those bumps are normally really small.

Can you post a picture? cause it maybe to late for tea tree oil once it gets to bad.

Oil of oregano is also very good. Smells like shit, but it does help

Kevin Randleman had a really bad case and it got worse until he tried putting raw honey on it.

'Manuka honey' or something very similarly spelled to that. You can buy it online. Costs a little more than regular grocerystore honey
