Yeah it sucks that Savage never got a lengthy WCW title reign. Held it 4x but jobbed out to Flair and (especially) Hogan.
And the same title in 2000 was on the same level as the AWA title in 1990...

I put 1000 on Niners to win the super bowl. 6 to 1 odds, not bad. Even though I think Denver will win.

New Years Eve tweet from Zack Ryder:

Ouch.

And another first for CM Punk:

Quote:
With 2012 officially a thing of the past, WWE Champion CM Punk reached another milestone in his historic title run. By holding the belt from January 1st - December 31st, Punk became the first person to accomplish this feat since Hulk Hogan did so back in 1987.

Oh, it was ridiculous. Something like 19 of those were in 2000.

I honestly dont recall why they were in a program, I just remember they had a match earlier that night and then Savage won it all later. Savage was the face at the time but I cant recall if Luger was a heel or not...

Luger actually had a cool dynamic going on then. He was allied with the Dungeon of Doom to "kill" Hulkamania but was in a tag team with Sting at the same time.
