That was true in his dominant run between 2005 and 2008,but ever since Peter Aerts beat him in that legendary fight (Im tallking about the first one,or rather...the fourth) lots of people try to rush Semmy, and not let him estabilish his rhythm and distance. Since then, most of his fights were pretty exciting.

If height is only reason he wins, why isn't Hong Man Choi the K1 Champion?

exactly....sem is a multiple champion in different sports.....he was a pancrase champ, 4 times k1 champ and didn't do too bad in mma as well...competed in pride as well as the UFC

he's quite old and still competing

ok, he's not that exciting or technikal to watch and has no charisma.....but he delivers results over and over again

The Peter Aerts one makes me feel melancholic. The old samurai who has seen it all , still loving the game. I really believe he lives for this and money isn't the only reason he's still fighting. Can't help but admire this dude , so many wars ,so many highlightreel KO's , so many memories. WAR AERTS !!

Well, then this following video will make you even more melancholic
He is saying that from the first pool either Schilt or Saki will go through, most likely Schilt. From his pool, he is looking forward to his fight with Ghita. He says they have similar styles and it will be a great fight. Couldn't agree more

If both win their first opponent, then they will meet. It"s not good for Daniel, maybe Peter only had a poor fight and now he will come top! I"m not sure he"s finished yet.
