Fighters signed contracts before K-1 made a TV deal with SPIKE thats worth millions and they made a deal to move the final after 01.01.2013 so it can be aired live on SPIKE TV. The Final will happen in January and the event will be announced, it will be either Japan or New York.

So please ask me another question because I can feel you didnt understand anything again.
NYC is 100% out of the question to have it at by the end of January. They can't get a good venue by then. I may believe Japan, but they can't get a good venue there either on a months notice and Spike TV sure as hell isn't going to air it live from there.

You say you don't speculate or gossip, yet nothing you have said is confirmed anywhere. Just speculation from fighters and managers, which we all saw last year too. And that event had a date and venue. According to K-1, this event is happening today in New York City. They have literally never acknowledged that the event is not happening today after announcing it.

Every fight in all combat sports that is happening in January 2013 has a date and a venue. And every fight on TV in January is already on the schedule. They don't just announce stuff like this last minute and everything is magically ready.

There is no way in hell the final is happening in January. The final is probably happening in Abu Dhabi. February at the earliest, might even be June. XTP is talking out of his ass.

k1 is so laughable nowadays it's insane

the k1 wgp 2012 might be held in Juen 2013? what a load of crock

and I don't even know why we have this topic if you look at the 8 fighters........none of them would even stand the slightest chance of winning if you compare them to all the heavyweights that aren't booked

weak ass card, a half year to late with still no real date or venue

K1 is dead my friends, accept it

They won't. People stuck with the delusion that FEG ran K-1 would continue all year when it was obvious they were broke, then when they sold it people were saying this new company is going to be even better and it's been a flop.

Sure, I love the K-1 brand and its rich history but I'm not going to lie to myself. The writing is on the wall folks. K-1 as it is today won't survive.

This is one of the instances where I will admit to being a little delusional. Just out of hope that K-1 can survive long enough to get the North American exposure that the Spike deal will bring, and hopefully it will flourish from there.

I don"t know if the final is in February but Superkombat scheduled the next event for March. This means in February there will be an event in K-1. And the latest rumors were about K-1 in February anyway.

yeah, i heard those too and word being out is a good thing.
I just get the feeling nowadays that when things that are announced months in advanced are delayed by yet more months, things are uncoordinated and badly planned.
events like that have to be scheduled long in advance, even in japan.
the venues used for combat sport events are used by other sports as well, sports leagues that are run quite well.
cant just come in and score a stadium on a weeks notice.
this means that k1 has wildly overstretched themselves in even announcing these events.
that spells organizational trouble in my book
