of course she can, but you have to see what cyborg does in the gym against top notch men...it's insane...now i'm not going into specifics about how she does it (her drug history is well documented) but all i know is ronda would be the dumbest woman in the world to even been the same arena as cyborg.
though the fight will never happen.

I could swear Marloes Coenen hung with Cyborg for nearly three rounds, and Yoko even made to a decision (so did Porto although Borg was smaller then). Ronda is a slight more dangerous than them.
Also Ronda has quite the build and massive strength herself, it would be closer than some imagine I'm sure. She overpowered Miesha's leg with her arm...

Yah, but I was alot more baffled at those who thought Sara Kaufman, with her great striking ability, would beat Ronda Rousey. Ronda had her in full mount within 15 seconds, had the armbar within 30 seconds and Sara could only defend it for 20 seconds.

So she would rather keep her muscle mass than actually have an opponent to fight… because there are no viable options at 145. Either she cuts to 135 or loses a giant pay day.

Cyborg would punk ronda on the clinch then smash her.

If I remember correctly, Cyborg had trouble getting to 145. I would bet that Dana White wants to really make sure Rousey has the best chance at her. If I was Dana White, I would have brought in the 145 lb. division as well and had another star to promote. I think he might have lost his touch with promoting the UFC and I hope he gets back to that old groove, and I'm no shill.

Cristiane Santos popped positive ONCE. People act as if she was on the stuff for her entire MMA career. To even imply that would be blind speculation with no validity. She is super ripped at 145 lbs., as you can see from the weigh-in photos. To ask a person like that to cut down to 135 lbs. is absurd, especially if losing that muscle mass would negatively affect their fight performance. A catchweight fight at 140 lbs. was offered to Ronda Rousey and it was declined. Cyborg probably could cut to 135 lbs., but she would be a lot weaker and her performance would be poor. Just because you can do do something, it doesn't mean that you should. For example, Wanderlei Silva's cut to 185 lbs. was a mistake, in my humble opinion.

People who assume she hasn't could also be viewed as naive.

His supposed reason for not bringing in the 145 lbs. Women's weight division is because of a lack of top fighters at that weight class to compete. I disagree with that, due to the fact that Strikeforce held events with numerous 145 lb. fighters who put on good performances. If you throw enough $$$ at Gina Carano, perhaps she would make a return to the sport. I doubt that she'll be that big of a hit in her movie career. I would agree with your bet that Dana White wants to do whatever possible to make sure that Rowdy has the advantage in a fight against Cyborg. It's obvious who Dana wants to see become the face of Women's MMA. I would like to see the 145 lb. & 135 lb. divisions in the UFC's Women's division.
