If you want to set up the next one, it's yours. You did have the original idea; I just thought up a funny name for it.
The problem with democracy is that it takes a long time to get anything done. It's faster if one person, initially at least, just takes the ball and runs with it. I had the idea for Game of Death(Lifts)and ran it up the flagpole to see if anyone saluted. In less than two days we've got over fifty potential competitors. That leaves us plenty of time to fine-tune the rules, divide up into Teams etc.
Right from the start I've tried to be as democratic as possible, even to the extent of taking flak because I left it up to the group consensus as to whether or not we allowed Straps, Pulling Sumo etc. I was also happy to add an Overhead Press, even though I initially set this up as a single Lift comp.
