Well, I have a theory that he actually died in 1992, but then his death caused him to be the centre of attention again, which resurrected him. And every time he's given attention, it just gives him more Life Force.

Ric is incapable of managing. Its not a knock on him, he just doesn't know how to try and not outshine someone else. Its just his nature to try and be the peacock and get all the attention. Nowadays he really doesn't even consciously try to do it as such, but people are so used to HAVING to pay attention to him that they do it anyway.
Yes, agreed.

I wrote this in the last thread (speaking of Flair)
Quote:
I don't have a problem with small guys. In fact I am a Superstar Bill Dundee type guy, tbh. Bert Assirati was legit 5'7' but was billed as a feared shooter/ripper and the worlds strongest man (both were justified.)
They aren't being billed as something special and then we have to believe that they can beat up Jack Swagger (an elite athlete) with ease.
In an interesting historical note is that the oppostion to Ric Flair in 81 to becoming NWA worls champion was that at 6 feet 235, he was too small to be the champ. Crockett Jr countered that he was as big as the Funks and Jack Brisco. The oppostion said yeah, but he didn't have their pedigree. They relented pretty easily and the rest is history.
So at one time Flair was considered a midget, not vanilla, but a midget

Picture is an obvious shop, no way does BJ Penn tap Daniel Bryan ever; BJ loses to any top 10 wrestler with sub defense(providing that wrestler is not a lightweight, and/or Matt Hughes).
