They are doing some pretty cool things with cadaver tissue implants below the first layer of skin to help prevent old scar tissue from splitting open.

GSP probably won't get to side control, but he doesn't have to. I thought his 'get to half guard and pound' strategy against Condit was very, very effective, and he'll probably do the same thing to Diaz. I don't think Nick will hurt him as much as Condit did, GSP will probably stand even less with Diaz than he did with Carlos.

His skin was never the problem...the bones around his eyes and near his eyebrow used to be very sharp. That's what he did surgery for

2 of the those guys already beat Diaz. Fitch definitely would and so would prime Hughes. Only Alves would be a good match up but I still think he'd low kick Nick to pieces.

I feel like you're looking at the screen with your eyes closed or something.
I simply said that Diaz has fought Wrestlers before and GSP hasn't fought anyone like Diaz. I didn't mean Diaz WAS an "animal", I meant type of fighter, like he is a different type of animal than other guys GSP has fought.
Sometimes you kids need to stop being so ready to argue your point and just listen.......

Which is it? He can get to half or not?

^side control and half guard are not the same thing bro.
And yes, Diaz could have fought every wrestler in the world, but he's never fought anyone like GSP.
GSP WILL put him on his back and break his face...at will. Diaz will know its coming, and there's not even a thing he can do about it.
After GSP fights Diaz, they should give Diaz, Johnny Hendricks. I'd love to see Diaz laid out.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. GSP can and will take Diaz down and get to half guard, from which he will pound the living hell out of Diaz for 5 rounds or until Diaz loses consciousness/gets cut too badly to continue, whichever is first. He will not try to pass to side control, because it's harder than just getting to half and he's not going to try and sub Diaz, he'll just GnP him to KO/UD. I predict very little time spent standing in this fight. Diaz's TDD is suspect, he's been fed strikers for a while now, GSP will demonstrate why wrestling is the most important discipline for MMA success by totally taking Diaz out of his game standing and denying him sub opportunities on the ground.

I could hear what you were saying until this. One-punch headhunters almost never win against seasoned, well-rounded strikers. It's nearly the same kind of example you gave with GSP, where the great top player nearly always beats the great bottom player. Hendricks can punch, Diaz can box.

GSP will demolish nick, it wont even be competitive, I can only see nick pulling some kneebar from a turtle position or something like that, other ways, he will get beat the fuck up...
