Barefoot Gen - Complete - [C+] - This WWII story is historically very important, but it was just too damn depressing for me. I couldn't even get to when the city gets nuked. People with more tolerance to this kind of real-life depressing-as-shit kind of thing might like it, but it's not for me.
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service - Complete - [C-] - I thought the concept of this series (people with "charlatan" powers like dowsing and object reading lay the spirits of the dead to rest) was really interesting, but the author spends too much time in the gore-porn realm. I shouldn't have been surprised given his other works, but I was still disappointed.
Nijigahara Holograph - Complete - [F] - I was extremely confused by this series. It was really disjointed and after a couple chapters I still had no clue what the hell was going on or what the point of the series was.
Pokemon Adventures - Ongoing - [N/A] - I read about a volume's worth of this and it brought back a ton of memories playing the original pokemon back in middle school. It was a good nostalgia trip, but it's a series written for children and not something that could maintain my interest.
Team Medical Dragon - Complete - [F] - This rating needs a huge clarification: I'm not good with realistic medical stuff that details how the body works. I almost passed out in one of my biology classes in high school, and this series is the same kind of thing.
Tokyo Red Hood - Complete - [F!!] - Holy shit. Uhh, the author of this must have some major issues. I could barely make it through the first chapter. More fucked up than anything I think I've ever read. That includes any of the scenes that I read in stuff like Berserk, Freesia, Wolf Guy, etc. I'm not even going to describe it, it's that bad.
Tripeace - Ongoing - [F] - I'm not sure if I'm just really tired of this style shonen or if the series was really that bad/cliche, but this did absolutely nothing for me. Also: having a protagonist with major amnesia has to be one of the worst plot devises ever created.

I'm not quite how or even WHY I found Tokyo Red Hood a long time ago, but yeah it's REALL, REALLY, REALLY fucking messed up. As for Tripeace, I think the problem isn't just that it's been done before already, but that it's been done better. Like I can't help but feel it's like a generic version of FMA for some reason.

can somebody recommend me some Japanes highschool gang fight manga/anime out there? pretty sure there is something beside Crows.

GTO, Cromartie, Angel Densetsu, Extreme Martial Arts Hell, there are WAY more, but this is all I got for now assuming you don't include more Shonenesque series like HSDK.

Oh god that Tokyo Red Hood shit was awful...and I've read some fucked up shit before...

I've noticed that the last two review posts have been average to just terrible (grade wise), at least you enjoyed Psyren a couple pages back...that was one of the first series I mentioned here (IIRC)

Yeah I figured. Bit harder to find manga like that since they usually delve into the unrealistic valley like HSDK, get all fantasy super-natural on you, or are borderline hentai like Tenjo Tenge which was mentioned a few pages back.

I downloaded almost the entire manga and am looking for a nice long and lazy weekend to marathon it.

Prepare to be massively under whelmed when reading fairy tail and keep in mind at several points you'll think "this is a complete Naruto and/or One Piece rip off" I still read it from time to time just cause I've read 311 chapters already and it's not a terrible manga.
