World Fighter Spirit: Overweight Aikpracha Edges out Watson in a WAR

Fantastic scrap

http://SamuraiLife.net/2012/12/17/wo...tson-in-a-war/

Anvar from LionMuayThai Phuket came unstuck against Rajadamnern champion Panfar (103-6), and WMC champion Teresa Wintermyr lost to Thai girl "Kwanjai" in a scrap the WPMF must have enjoyed.
Jade Marrisa Sirisompan lost her first fight too.

Watson/Aikpracha was fantastic - few Thais or farang alike could take it to Aikpracha the way Watson did

I keep reading that Watson took it to Aikpracha, but really all I saw was Watson getting beaten up whether he was going backwards or even coming forwards. Great fight though! I do like Watson a lot so i'm not shit talking, i'm a fan just calling how I saw the fight. Seemed very one sided to me, maybe I need a rewatch.

It was competitive but not really all that close at the end. Kinda like the same deal as Saenchai-Harrison earlier this month.

I never thought much of Watson before but he impressed me here.

Ya that's a good comparison. Sure Watson landed some right hands and kicks here and there but I found him getting tossed around for the majority of the fight, elbowed in the face and kicked around. Aikpracha looked like a beast, my god. I knew he would beat Jordan, but didn't expect it to be as dominant as the fight was. Major props to Jordan, cut looked pretty nasty too.

I'm a lot more impressed with Watson than Aekpracha honestly. Wasn't that impressive of a win IMO.

True.

And not many farang AND Thais alike can take it to Aikpracha in a battle like that. Sittichai, Kem, Saiyok and a handful of others at 70-72kg...
