People manage to make their own way here rather quickly, one way or another, without the need of a special thread for introductions.
Besides that, there are hundreds of new members registered here every day, way too many to get any useful benefit from an introduction page.
And finally, many new posters such as yourself, and often erroneously I might add, come to the Support forum to introduce themselves.
