Wasn't his WSOF something like 30k guaranteed?

If he's willing to fight for that (total 60k with win bonus), I don't see why Bellator wouldn't want to make a play for him.

Hell, for that I would expect Joe Silva to give him a call.

I would prefer Bellator just gets rid of it's Heavyweight division.

Not a big deal though, Only man outside the UFC that can challenge Cormier is Fedor, and that won't happen.

If I were Arlovski, I'd be begging Coker to fight Barnett on that card.
DC is a disaster for most guys. There is a reason that no big names jumped at a fight with DC. Given AA's apprehension against guys with little in the way of devastating offense (Hayes and Fulton), I think AA is concerned about his own chin, not that it is "glass," but that it isn't what it was. I am very curious about whether he has been KO'd in practice once or twice. Throw in the wrestling of DC, and I think AA wants no part of him.

I think you are confusing two things. You say that DC is the kind of fight that AA needs to get back into the UFC. You are dead wrong. That's the kind of fight that AA needs to win to get back in the UFC. But it is precisely the one that he wouldn't last minutes in. There are very few fights in which I don't think a guy has a puncher's chance, and DC v. AA is one of them: I would bet the existence of the human race that DC would commit AA's soul to the spirit world within 3 minutes. AA wouldn't have a chance.

Between that and his increasing stock, I am beginning to expect such a call from Joe. I hope it happens.

Yeah, but I think the HWT division is what makes and breaks an org. SF was becoming a legit rival to the UFC with so many people interested in their HWT tourny and division.

A focused Andrei is much more dangerous than Alexander Volkov.

AA will be back in the ufc the moment he feels really.

AA is an exciting fighter with that star factor. He wont have any problems getting in.

Don't forget how good Arlovski's takedown d is. The fact that DC's strong suit is wrestling actually would benifit AA in a fight. DC couldn't get Barnett out of there with just one aspect of his game. Arlovski went toe to toe with Sylvia a few months back & like always with AA, his mentality is always what the question mark is. He wanted to knock Sylvia's dick in the dirt, against Fulton/Hayes he just wanted a w.

DC is awesome & would be the clear favorite of that fight but don't kid yourself thinking AA would let it be a cake walk. The way their styles blend, it would be an ugly fight...

I'd honestly rather see him in the UFC. It's doubtful he would go through the tournament, and I have little interest in seeing him beat Volkov in a superfight.

There are some interesting fights for him in the UFC against guys he hasn't fought before. We all know he isn't likely to ever be champion again, and he'll likely get KO'd again at some point, but fights with Pat Barry, Cheick Kongo, Shane Carwin, Mark Hunt, Lavar Johnson, and Stipe Miocic would be nice fights to have PPVs. Hell, maybe we could even see him finally fight Frank Mir.

He's been pretty active lately and he's been headlining every event he's fought in this year also.

Bellator would want him exclusively and Arlovski is a headliner that 95% of mma promoters would love to get their hands on. I think Arlovski continues to headline smaller shows instead of going the Bellator route. Spike could change that though, as that exposure could increase his sponosrship money signifiacantly.

Kharitonov won't come to Bellator because then he can't do kickboxing. Bellators HW's division will likely be filled in with more prospects rather than established fighters, I think.

A superfight with Volkov is definitely possible I think. Bellator will probably avoid until unless they think Volkov will win.
