Any idea if he'll stay at 70 or move back up to 77?

There are plenty Top Thais who fight other Top Thais and Top non Thais. Its just Buakaw you are talking about.

Anyone from LiverKick, or wherever, can call a spade a spade anytime or anywhere they want.
And besides, he's not even doing it on the website where he very easily could.

I dare most people to dig into this sport and not walk away thinking, "what the hell is wrong with these people?"
EDIT: Also I can't remember the last time a promotion ever paid me. We've had a few partnerships with third party companies who have purchased ad space or sold PPVs for shows through us, but no one has ever paid us for favor. I mean, I make my living as a writer (not through fighting, this stuff pays in circus peanuts, don't believe the hype) and understand that once you start stooging for someone for money, it's hard to go back.
Never stooge for anyone. That is better than I can say for the MMA media.

1 The productions was horrible, when you compare that to Glory in Rome, I would give Glory a 9 and K-1 Greece a 2 and last Thai Fight a 7.
2 Ring looked horrible, small, no advertisement and camera angles from K-1 Greece show sucked. The graphics were 60% wrong and bad as well.
3 K-1 Greece Judging was a disgrace and hometown boy Zambidis got favored multiple times.
4 Vinnie the horrible commentator was called last minute while he already announced unsatisfied twitter post about "payment", some other were paid last minute and some fighters from the Spain show are still not paid. This is under new K-1 management were fighters continued not to be paid and were Isshi was seen ringside and backstage in Greece ( the so called "old" owner ).
5 The stream was the worst so far and there are less and less countries who pick up the live broadcast.
This has nothing to do with crap on K-1 but more K-1 producing crap and destroying the last bit of legacy the name K-1 had.
The writer is right that the only real positive thing happening for kickboxing is Glory. Thai Fight is nice for Thailand, but we all know where their fighters come from. They are not coming from other countries, but are farangs who just happen to train or be in Thailand. Bukaw gets every 6 weeks a new victim and the Thai people love it, for that Bukaw gets paid big money each year with a guarantee win scenario ( as long as he does not fight outstide of Thai Fight ), so you wil not see him in a show like Glory with real competition. Thai fight champion Khem tried this in Sweden and Kiria won from him so we won't see any "top" thai making that mistake again. yes I know it’s sounds negative, but it is the truth. Some figures about the Athens show:
- OAKA Olympic Indoor Sports Center Venue capacity: 19500 seats
- K-1 Max Final 8 attendance: 4500 spectators
- Spike TV Live Stream viewers: 1000
- broadcasted live in Croatia and ex-Yugoslavia
- delayed broadcasted in Greece and Cyprus
The fighters did a great job performing a solid show. It was really a shame that K-1's PR department (do they still have one?) did a horrible job. In my opinion they also choose the wrong venue (too big)
I really hope K-1 will survive in 2013. We need competition (Glory monopoly mmm no thanks) but K-1 should sort things out next time.
Overall I would give this event (1-10) a poorly 4.
Entertainment/quality level fights: 8
Production level: 4
PR: 0

What bugs me is that they were able to push the event more with little effort, but they literally did nothing to have more people show up or watch.

haha, the truth of who it is is actually much funnier than that, let's just say he has a pretty substantial interest the argument, also many people have said who it is on other threads.

The fighters delivered for sure, but the promotion didn't.
I mean seriously the logo on the mat alone... Didn't even box in the black/white logo it was just a black triangle. How do you fuck something so simple up?
