Please pm your top five in the order you would like them in, one through five.
The top two get in.
Micki James nommed but she is not eligible until 2014 unless someone can prove that she debuted before Dec. 1997. I checked three places and they have her at 1999 debut. She is only 33.
After this election I would like to seperate the womans into different categories unless there is opposition. Any and all ideas on the differents cats is welcome. (Not saying that I want to vote the different categories, I just want to seperate the wings.)

having a tough one with this one. I should have nommed Cyndi Lauper. She did more for wrestling than just about anyone.
Madusa has my right hand vote, as my right hand, well, you know. But I don't think that is a criteria for voting for her, or is it?

I voted for the wimmens. Thanks for getting this going again, Flow!
Some notes on the old-timers on this list:
Aileen Eaton ran the LA wrestling scene, and was the main LA boxing promoter as well. She was the boss from the 50s to the 70s in LA, at least. She was Gene Lebell's mom, too. She never wrestled, but had a huge impact as a very important promoter.
June Byers was on the undercard beneath Mildred Burke for about at least 5 years. Her story is convoluted, and her getting the MWA World Women's title from Mildred Burke was also controversial. Billy Wolfe, who had been the King of womens wrestlers promoters, was divorced from Burke and had been Byers' lover while married to Burke (and many others). Byers did good with her chance, and likely would have held the Women's title longer if she didn't have a nasty car wreck that ended her career. She eventually married Sam Menacker. Byers was an excellent champion who had a long run with the women's belt (not as long as Burke's or Moolah's).
Cora Livingston was the Womens Champ. she was the first IMPORTANT womens champ. She first won the title in 1913, lost it and regained it in 1923, then retired with it in 1935. She was married to Paul Bowser, the boss of Boston and many New England promotions. She helped run his promotion, and trained other women wrestlers. She helped Mildred Burke by appearing at several of her matches, but didn't wrestle Burke (publicly), who started after Livingston retired. A 22 year title reign is damned impressive, even though there wasn't many good women wrestlers until Billy Wolfe's troupe came into existence around the time Burke hit the big time.
I am not advocating for these women to be in our HoF, just edumacating some of you young-uns on some history of this great sport.
