It's beneficial for limiting postprandial inflammatory response in people with chronic inflammation, mainly due to it's anti-oxidant properties.
Consuming excessive amounts of it though is not beneficial. It's first line interactions are with free radicals (hydroxyl in particular), but it's secondary interaction is the oxidation of metal ions, which itself can create more free radicals and more oxidative damage. So, like everything else, there is that Goldilocks safe zone of "not too hot and not too cold". As always, tread with caution.

I discovered as nasty patch of rightworm.
I watched Pirates of the Carribean 2.
A week later the ringwom was gone. I didn't need anti-fungals.
Since then, I've been watching inferior pirate based movie sequels regularly and I've not had another case of ringworm. Draw your own conclusions but I know what works for me.

Are you guys supplementing with Vitamin C or just eating foods high in it?

I prefer putting things in my mouth that have rich texture and taste, as opposed to a flavouless chalky disc. So, the latter. I <3 fresh fruit.

i agree but i wonder how many oranges it would take to get 5 grams of vitamin c lol
its not something that i have researched but i wonder about the benefits of that much. i took 3 grams once and my stomach did not agree. i thought about experimenting with large amounts of vitamin c but along the lines of the vitamin C stuff i read was that someone was seriously advocating huge amounts of niacin for depression
i believe about 10 grams iirc

If you are clinically depressed you should be seeking the help of a physician not trying home brew remedies.

Can you dumb that down a shade?
Say I have an inflamed Bursa are you suggesting I should be having some extra Vit C? (currently don't really take any and not exactly a massive eater of fruit).
