why are retards immediately calling for more gun control when it is a statistical fact that legal gun owners save substantially more lives per year than criminals take. This unimaginable tragedy in no way changes the facts. Now is a time for mourning and helping the victims, not knee jerk politics.

You have to take courses in gun safety and get a certain amount of practice in at the gun range. Then you can apply to the police and get a license.

We have quite a high ratio of guns to people here (I believe we are top ten worldwide), but it is my impression that people here are more responsible gun owners than the average American.
