Not bad. Omigawa could have done some damage to Mendes if he had a little more on his punches, that was actually a decent fight. In Japan, this is a very competitive fight.

No easy fights for Omigawa. Kawajiri will probably win a decision, but I will be rooting for Omigawa all the way!

Another very solid fight for NYE. Omigawa has a real tough test ahead of him with Kawajiri. Kawajiri has looked great at 145. I don't think this will be a good rebound fight for Omigawa.

I think Kawajiri will finish him.

Omigawa should come to the ring wearing boxing trunks and hypnotize Kawajiri into believing a boxing match is taking place. Or else Kawajiri will just keep taking him down at will to grind out a decision win like we've seen million times.

I thought that was always common sense. I've heard it all my life that flying to east gives you a much harder jet lag. I often fly to Japan and back to Europe and I certainly can tell the difference.

I don't think Kawa is that fast as a FW because of his bulk and his striking has huge holes.(and Crusher is not better than Mendes, hes the exact style of fighter that'll struggle in the UFC)

I really think Omigawa can pull it off. He is a much more technical standup fighter and hes fighting in a ring also.
Yeah. A large wrestler with a great top game usually does poorly in the UFC. Z
