I also have a vulkan pro light and it fits well too. The vulkan and koral are on the larger side of A2s and they don't shrink which is nice. They also have a full inch of cuff folded over that can be let out for more length on the sleeves. No getting around the pants being a little short on ya though.
Thanks for the reply!
How long are your arms if I may ask? Or how long are the sleeves of your A2?

You are referring to Koral MKM here, right? Or to your SYRs about which you speak in the next sentence?

I had a Koral MKM in A2 and the sleeves were ok with me and I'm 5'9 with a tad longer than average arms. They're the same length as an A1 SYR or newer brands in A1.
I think they'd be too short for you as they went down to the hand barely on me.

The size chart for A2 ends at 6'0 and I am 6'1 with long arms, so I would like to compare the length to my current gi (as I am far too thin for the A3). I believe someone said the MKM has slightly longer sleeves than other Korals...

Sorry to ask this in a new thread but I have to since I tried on so many gis lately and it's hard to find a good fit (unless I stay with Fushida for the rest of my life, but I would just like to try one of the classic big brands) - and I don't want to waste any money.
I'm 5'11 and fluctuate between 170 and 180 typically. My MKM fits me good enough that I never worry about the gi checkers at IBJJF comps. I could get away with shorter sleeves if I needed to, but they work just fine. I only use this gi for comps and it is washed in cold water and hung dry only. I've had it for 2.5 years and I don't think it's going to shrink anymore if it has at all.

Now for the stuff you want:

From the outside edge of the collar to tip of sleeve is 29 inches.
From armpit to tip of sleeve is 20 inches.
From tip of sleeve to tip of opposite sleeve is 63.5-64 inches.
From top of back collar to bottom of skirt is 30 inches.
On the pants, the inseam of the sewn part is 25.5 inches.
The outer seam of the pants is 35.5 inches.

Hope this helps.

I don't have a koral but I have Vulkan pro lite which are supposed to be the same as koral mkm and also shoyoroll. The vulkan and shoy are both on the bigger size of a2. Gameness is the smallest a2 I've seen. The koral A2 will be fine for you and like I said if not you have a full inch that can be let out and re sewn on the sleeve cuff on them. The koral and vulkan are truly preshrunk too of u don't machine dry or wash in hot .

is the mkm considered a particularly short skirt gi? because if these measurements from collar to skirt are correct it would be considerably shorter than my fushida compgs - and the compgs has one of the shortest skirts out there already.

I don't know if it is or not, but I've never noticed it. I'll try to remember to check it against my other gi's, but they all seem to hang the same length in the closet.

I'll try to remember to check tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Thanks.

I meant to respond on your blog about the Bull Terrier gi I have, but I forgot which comment section I wrote it on.
I don't want to derail this thread, so I may shoot you a message on Facebook at some point when I get time.
