Jones is a great fighter and would still be a great fighter regardless of his size.

Not really. Focusing strictly on weight and body fat % not to derail the discussion. P4P stands for POUND after all.
Silva, GSP, Aldo and Barao consistently fight guys their size because in ALL weight classes below LHW the top ranks are filled with guys like jones: cut a lot of weight and has very low body fat %.
(Edgar and BJ are pretty much the only exceptions, that's why I did not put Bendo on the list)
Jones on the other hand consistently fights guys smaller than him (weight wise) or much chubbier: Shogun, Machida, Rashad, Belfort, Sonnen and Hendo when they fight)
I am not saying that he is doing anything illegal, I am just stating the facts.

Mike Tyson was only 5 foot 10 inches tall and was the World Heavyweight Champion in a sport where it's all striking; there's no wrestling. According to your theory, he shouldn't have been dominant because he didn't have freakishly long limbs nor was he very tall.
Jones is not big; he's got chicken legs. His upper body is not small like his legs but it's certainly not like Lesnar or even Overeem. Those guys are big. Jones is tall - not big.

It's not an unfair advantage. He was born with long arms, get the fuck over it.

TS is right I've seen 3 threads complaining about Jones' supposedly unfair reach this month.
Granted the reach haters used to post threads 3 x day so it's cooled off but there's still too many fools talking about how Jones' has an "unfair" advantage.

Jones IS HUGE, stop kidding yourself. He's got chicken leggs yes but his upper body is huge. And his reach is nuts for a 6'4 guy. Look at pics of him near big HW's like Arlovski for example, he looks roughly the same size, wich is ridiculous.

Experience, IQ, spatial awareness, reflex speed, and diameter of the left calf muscle as well. But yeah, I think we're really on to something.
