Fairtex Aero Focus Mitts - FMV11

Has anyone tried these mitts? I'm used to a more contoured shape but the padding on this makes it safer for the trainer to hit with. I'm only concerned that these mitts may be too big or bulky. How would they compare to the Fairtex Classic Pro Mitts (FMV9) of the Ultimate Contoured Mitts (FMV10)? Thanks!

They are super lightweight if you are looking for lightweight mitts

I'm hoping to pick up a pair of these for Christmas, so I would like to hear more about them too. I've been holding mitts for extended periods of time lately, and my elbows are taking a beating. Of all the air mitts I've looked into, these look like the best.

Thanks for the input musicrocks 9393. I assume that you own them, but when you train with them, do you feel that they are light enough to improve speed with your combos or would they be too bulky for that? Does your holder hit you hard with these pads? The appeal of these pads are that your trainer can actually deliver a small blow for more realistic defensive training. How long have you had them and do they hold up well?

I'm personally used to the contoured classic FMV9 classic mitts (below) and they've been pretty durable at the gym I trained at but they kept slipping on my hands with each punch. I have small hands so maybe something with a strap like the FMV10 would be more secure.

FMV10:

Have you or beaglepuss tried any of these Fairtex mitts? If so, how were they for you?

I truly believe Fairtex makes some of the highest quality gear out there. Ive seen/ tried all the Fairtex Mitts. All their mitts are excellent in quality and craftsmanship. I liked the air mitts the best because they are the lightest (truly feel like air) which allow you to increase hand speed, dont get heavy on your hands, and they are squooshy so you can jab/hit your fighter without hurting him and effectively simulate a real fight in these mitts.
Yes you can hit hard on these mitts. I recommend the air mitts FMV11 over all their other models. Hope that helps

+1

We carry these focus mitts for sale in our store and I think they are the best ones if you are looking for an air mitt that you can hit hard. The pads are thick, but I don't think you'll find them overly bulky.
