god no....forget john...dude won't face the other champs in his division or any top contender..faces soft touches and won't leave the country...the 2 times he was in the US he nearly got ko'ed by juarez..now he thinks he's entitled to a shot because of a dubious hometown decision win over jmm...id only support this rematch if it was in mexico or something other than that jmm doesn't need him

LOL at you guys saying you scored it for Juan, or it was a home town decision.

John beat him clearly, not saying that would happened again but when they fought John won by 4rnds easily.

I didnt see that way. Ive watched fight twice over the years and have juan winning. I really couldnt believe they gave that fight to John.

That fight had very competitive rounds. John is an excellent fighter and did not get dominated by any means but Juan was a close but clear winner IMO

It would be very hard to sell that fight even if they could meet at 135 or so. So, no, I don't believe that fight will ever happen. There is nothing for JMM in it and Chris can only dream about it.

Look at his record from the time he beat Leon for the WBA title. How many times did he fight someone outside of his country? 4 against people no one has ever heard of until he fought Rocky Juarez and put on a stinker, almost getting stopped late as I recall.

After that hes fought in boxings hotbed- Mt CLaremont Australia and in big fights in high profile boxing countries like Singapore. You should realize thats sarcasm.
To be fair, that was on the undercard of a Danny Green fight in Perth that sold out.

And that's fine, I really blame it on John he can fight so great by using the subtle nuances of boxing that it comes off as unimpressive. Juan as in the fight the whole time, I just left John won.

LOL I really don't know why John would even bring up a rematch he's too small now. Unless he's going to schedule it for 2014
