Oh and if its not clear enough - rice isn't the same fucking type of carb as processed fructose/glucose.

The second is a hugely processed refined type of shite.

No. Carbohydrate rich diets actually promote insulin sensitivity and insulin secretion. Chronic high fat diets reduce insulin sensitivity (this is a byproduct of fatty acid metabolism) and reduce insulin secretion.

Overfeeding of any macronutrient, resulting in the accumulation of adipose tissue, will generally promote insulin resistance if sustained chronically.
