Has anyone ever hear of tristate mma in northern pa?

I'm about to start MMA in January because getting my gear for christmas and I'm 14. So I'm going to this MMA place near me and I hope its a good place. Anyone here of it?

The website is kinda poorly designed. I find it weird that they don't say who the instructors are... I will say this, it's a Saulo Ribeiro BJJ school, if this is true at least you'll have world class bjj instruction. I notice in the seminars section it says Saulo himself gives seminars. So at the very least you'll get bjj instruction from one of the greatest bjj players of all time once in a while and regular instruction from some of his black belts. Not sure about rest of school, i.e. the mma part. Go take some classes and find out yourself

Is there a new site that superseded this one? I'd be very skeptical of they don't name their instructors. That's pretty common and the best way for these gyms to differentiate themselves.

Quicky googled them, not much info. There is a youtube video there and all I can say is it doesn't look great.... The guys holding pads have no idea what they are doing. Now this doesn't mean that the BJJ at this school isn't excellent, as I said before I doubt a Ribeiro blackbelt wouldn't be excellent, but pads in that youtube video lead me to believe it's lacking in many spots...

Just go check it out. DO NOT go alone,as you're only 14. Just go take a free bjj class, as many offer this for free. See if you like it. Bring an adult with you, and it should be fun, and friendly, and you should be shown around, and explained the finer points of what they train there. No pressure. Ask questions about the instructors, they should be HAPPY to answer you. it's pretty easy to tell by talking to the instructors if it's a good school, this may not be obvious to you as you are young, that's why I'm saying bring an adult. Even before taking a class, go watch one !
Be weary of any place that tries to make you sign up for a long period of time right off the bat. Be weary of any place where the instructions brags how good he is, or doesn't make you feel welcome and helping in answering all your questions with zero pressure.
Sorry for long winded post, but there are so many terrible martial arts schools. I'd go just for the Ribiero Seminar !!!!!!

After looking at site, video, and facebook page...i would recommend joining your schools wrestling program if it exists.
