That's cool of them.

I wasn't fond of it to begin with. It was what my gym had at the time when I signed up and didn't know shit about gis. It was a year and a half old when the pants rip out of nowhere. I wouldn't expect a company to replace those pants.

a year and a half isn't too bad, my Fuji Kassen fell to pieces after about a year and a half. My two Fuji Victory's are still my main gi's and I have had them for over 3 years now.

It may sound ghey but I won't buy Gameness (or any other brand) that is clearly named for Dog fighting. Dogs being "game" or having a lot if "gameness" is a common term in those circles. At least that's what I have read. I don't enter my lab in dog fights because he is more if a lover then a fighter...well that and I'm not a total degenerate loser

I was interested in what you said because I do not support dog fighting so I googled "Gameness" to see what it meant.

Gameness
The most confused terms in relation to Pit Bulls is probably "gameness." Most people misconstrue the term as representing the dog's courage, fight ability, or endurance in the pit, but it is the never quit attitude and fight-to-the-death personality. ("Fight-to-the-death" does not necessarily mean in the pit, either.)

Game bred dogs were not necessarily the best in the pit, but they were the ones with the most fight in them. Gameness makes a small dog able to take on a much larger dog and ultimately win.

Gameness is the willingness to continue and persevere in any activity, whether fighting, hunting, herding, pulling a cart, or defending its owner, while being put through great stress and/or intense pain until he has won or until death.

Gameness has nothing to do with ability or bravery; it has to do with heart.
I also looked at different sites and some reference dog fighting others do not, some are mentioned when talking about the dog protecting their family, so it is a term that is not just used in dog fighting but in the Pit Bull community in general.

Here is a great read on it, the first paragraph sums it up perfectly.

just don't dry that gi on heat, and always wash in cold...the gi should be good to go. i've got a gameness pearl 2009 model, and wear it on a weekly basis. good quality gi's.

Yeah I always liked the toughness of the gi, it looks like one that will last if it is cared for.

Our gis are pre-shrunk, so you shouldn't expect much shrinkage if washed in cold water and hang dried. However, if you wash in hot water or dry in a machine, it may loose some length from the heat. I apologize if you've had problems in the past with your Platinum gi shrinking, but we've updated our manufacturing to avoid this in the future. If you have any questions about sizing, you can always just contact me at service@gameness.com.

I think you are reading too much into the name. My professor told me he knew the guy who started the Gameness company. Told me that his teammate started the company when he was a purple and the dog pictured on the gi is a picture of his own dog. Seems like a dog lover to me. The Gameness naming is more like asking someone "Are you game?"
