Jim would be fine, Shane would be a little suspicious but still fine considering he hadn't worked with Darabont before (not that I know of) and his character was supposed to have died much sooner (I always considered each screen second Shane got as borrowed time), but Dale... his character mattered in the comics and the writers would've probably kept him, it's pretty obvious that Darabont poached him after getting fired.

Yeah, I knew they were buds, and your theory makes sense. Personally I didn't think anything of them killing Dale off when they did. It didn't seem too early to me, but he was a bit different than the book. After I realized he would never smash Andrea I was ready to see him die. Great actor though.

That wasn't even the worst thing about that whole fight. At one point Michonne hits him in the head and kicks him to the floor. He's face down on the ground, hurt, ready to get finished off (that was the whole reason she was there, wasn't it?) with a quick thrust and what does she do? Climb on his back and try to choke him with the handle. Seriously, gtfo.

You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. Resident Evil 5 got a lot of shit for that very reason.

im enjoying the show but it does seem like a few conversations would have cleared up a lot of misconceptions about each other.
