evangelista cyborg vs pete spratt and rosholt vs odoms headliness legacy fc 17...

http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Eva...nship-17-47881

Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos has a date and dance partner for his Legacy Fighting Championship debut.

The Strikeforce, Sengoku and Pride Fighting Championships veteran will square off with former UFC talent Pete Spratt at LFC 17 on Feb. 1 in San Antonio, promotion officials recently revealed to Sherdog.com. The card also includes a heavyweight clash between unbeaten Richard Odoms and former NCAA All-American wrestler Jared Rosholt, as well a lightweight showdown pitting 29-fight veteran Nick Gonzalez against onetime Bellator competitor Kevin Aguilar.

A student of the vaunted Chute Boxe Academy, Santos has lost six of his last nine outings. The 34-year-old Brazilian last competed at Strikeforce “Barnett vs. Kharitonov,” where he fell to Jordan Mein via TKO in the third round. He was also submitted by then-Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz in January 2011. The former Cage Rage title challenger has finished 16 of his 18 professional victories by way of knockout or submission.

Spratt, 41, appeared twice under the LFC banner in 2011, knocking out Antonio Flores in 25 seconds before losing a five-round split verdict to Jorge Patino at LFC 8. The seven-time UFC veteran will carry a two-fight winning streak into his encounter with Spratt, most recently besting Daniel Acacio at Amazon Forest Combat 2 on March 31.

I hope this fight actually takes place. Both guys posses some nasty leg kicks. Cyborg by submission.

Going with Rosholt on this one easily, unless his conditioning fails him. Not a huge fan of Odom's skillset.

I wonder where Derrick Lewis is?

Two solid fights. Wish it were Odoms vs the guy that just beat Rosholt though.

Actually think Cyborg wins this one on the ground.

I'm going with Cyborg. I love watching him fight. His "Lion Kill" of Nishijima is one of my favorite subs. Not sure why I prefer over others, just do. And why did you just re-post the entire article from Sherdog's main page?

A couple of solid fights for Legacy. I think Cyborg takes out Spratt.

Cyborg vs Spratt is really fun. Cyborg has an advantage on the ground, though.
