Ric Flair on whether he'd have gotten into MMA and who he thought would've done well
Flair: No, I wouldn’t (go into MMA). I will watch MMA if someone I know is actually in it, but all the guys I know personally are gone. Liddell’s gone — he’s a good friend. Ortiz is gone — he’s a good friend too. Brock Lesnar is gone. The other guys now, I don’t watch, because I don’t care about them. But I’ll tell you: I have been in matches with Bruiser Brody that were tougher than any MMA match! Especially in Tokyo. Same thing with Stan Hansen. Try getting in the ring with him one time in Tokyo, brother. Good lord! And F.Y.I., nobody in MMA could have beaten Harley Race or Dick Slater. Those guys were just that tough. And remember Haku? Don’t ever think that anybody would mess with Haku. If he was a young guy and he got into MMA, my god — he’d have done everything! He was the toughest son of a bitch I’ve ever met in my whole life. No lie, take my word for it.
There Flair goes on the record. Flair has been in the wrestling business/profession for 40 years now, he's seen alot and another confirmation (Flair has said it before) that Haku is the toughest PW of all time.

Flair hates everything and everyone that isn't Ric Flair, the Four Horsemen (other than Roma and Viscious), HHH, Evolution, Harley Race and Dusty Rhodes.
What makes me laugh is when Flair was in WCW, he was calling WWE "Awful, it's not wrestling, WCW is where the wrestling is" and shit like that. Then, WCW gets bought by WWE and it's all "WWE is great, WCW was awful. I was embarrassed to be with them". Then he talks shit about TNA saying "TNA? What the hell is TNA?! They're nothing", then he goes to TNA, and all of a sudden, TNA is great, WWE is an awful monopoly, TNA is where all the great wrestlers are!
Steiner was right when he said Flair was an ass kisser.

I don't know about Tough Enough, but he said something to that effect on his DVD/Blu Ray they just released.

I showed my buddy that Steiner shoot last night. Many laughs were had. Great promo. Scott Steiner is the man and Ric Flair does have a lot of loose skin.

Nevermind that the the entire promo was a lie. Austin was actually a part of the Flair clique that lost out to the Hogan clique in a power struggle.

So Flair is doing his job?
Steiner was upper mid card at best who is so delusional that he really thought that in 92 that he was ACTUALLY in consideration to be champ and it was Flair who derailed that. Flair got Scott his job in WCW btw after Rick Steiner begged Flair to get him a job because he wasn't making any money.
Add Morton, Sting, Tim Woods, Blackjack, Steamboat, Funk etc, etc, etc. to the list of people he has praised over the years. Hell, he even liked Buddy Rogers.

Also, lofl about how you are supposed to give up how you make a living just because someone is younger than you. You will learn when you blink your eyes and your 45 and you still have bills to pay. You want my spot? Take it..... I ain't giving it to you.
One thing you guys have to remember is that Ted owned the company and he was a BIG advocate of Flair's. He had no idea who Luger and Steiner were. Flair was getting ratings on TBS for a long time.
