Good benching today. All sets were paused, including the 20x135. Did some light, high-rep squats today - felt good. No knee pain. Back was stiff the last couple of days & no pain there either.

In other news, I'm shopping for a car for my daughter. She turns 16 in December. Surreal. Also fun - especially when I think about how ridiculously excited she'll be on Christmas because she's not expecting it. But definitely a little weird....

BJJ - 1.5 hours

Great training tonight! 3 purple belts, 2 blues & a white at the class tonight. Got to roll with all 3 purple belts, did pretty well. Almost finished a beautiful triangle, probably the best triangle setup & execution for the first 95% of the move that I've ever had. Was really thinking clearly - I didn't finish it, but am very pleased with the effort. Potential promotion tomorrow morning...

My birthday is in January and I was surpised by my family the Christmas right before my 16th with a vehicle. I didn't have the slightest clue it was coming, and it was awesome. I'm sure she'll love it and it'll always be a sweet memory for her.

Now that I got that gayness out of the way, good luck tomorrow and I hope you get that promotion. Sounds like you deserve it.

Great work. I've probably said it before, but it blows my mind that you're 40. You do so much work, you can still dunk (barely!), and lets not forget your dashing and youthful looks!

I am thinking about awarding a JanutyPoint for a sexiness category for the end of year awards. It's pretty safe to say that, if it happens, Calvus will be one of the nominees. Of course it would still be very competitive, given some of the sexiness levels in this forum.

It's just such a full category. You have handsome Miaou, "beach body" Kotriz and of course "gone wild" Keosawa, too. Not to mention "jakt arms" KiwiTricker. If we do the category, it's going to be a tough one.
