Also, do you remember what Dana said after Anderson beat Forrest? He told him he'd have to vacate the MW belt if he wanted to fight at 205 anymore. Silva wasn't willing to do that so if a 205er wanted to fight him he'd have to cut down to 185.

Weidman has had 9 fights and by no means deserved a fight with Anderson.

Anderson is 3-0 at LHW. What is GSP's record at MW? How about Jon Jones record at HW? What is Shogun's record at HW? Exactly. Anderson is the only one to actually step up and fight in a bigger weight class.

Until some of these other champions fight someone in a bigger weight class: Anderson > all.

You know for every great fight Silva avoids there's an excuse, and i don't really pay attention to excuses. At the end of the day Silva has fought low tier opponents at 205 and avoided the best.

Fights he took at 205: Forrest, Bonnar, Irvin
Fighters he asked to drop weight: Shogun, Jones

Fights he's pushing for: WW's GSP & Nick Diaz
Fights he's not eager about: Jones, Weidman, other elite 205'ers.

^^^^ that's the part that was incorrect. Anderson said he'd fight at at 205 to save a card, the ufc management called around to see who would fight anderson on short notice and bonnar stepped up. The TS purposefully made it seem like anderson sought out bonnar.

It's basicly the same. Dana says Bonnar, Anderson accepts.

I wonder if he had taken the fight if Shogun was the only one avaible. Last time he said no, only at 185.
