I've sparred and rolled with a few well known MMA guys as well but Zab really was on another level.

But hey this is your thread, you need to start it off.
That's pretty cool and I'd like to hear more about your experience with Zab. I grew up watching Zab, and while he may not be comparable to other fighters of his generation like Mayweather and Pac, he was a damned good prize fighter.

His speed and straight left were devastating.

A nameless kid still in his teen years,

Perfect tecknique, nice explosion.
I was killing him everywhere because he lacked confidance.
No matter what I trew at him he just took it and kept fighting. Even my brutal ''judo clinch''(tm).
I was his 4th sparr of the day and he did around 300-400 situps between sessions.
His cardio impress the hell out of me.
He was from the States and flew in Montreal to train with Kru Peter Sisomphou.

I told him how he could have fuck-up my game and that for his age... he impress the hell out of me.
I hope he took my advice and is still train because he may be on his way to be a world destroyer some day.

When I was just a red belt a few years ago, I had to do a one step drill with this guy. He sort of pissed me of so I threw a few kicks passed his face to show him what I could do. He just stood there, so I stepped in on him for real and he just smashed me with the basic step and punch. My chest still hurts. That was the first and only time I've seen someone with enough mental discipline to counter me that hard in the middle of a combo.
