For what it's worth, Steiner's also one of the first to perform a 450 splash. By my count of all videos with the exemption of Lucha Libre, Steiner's the first to do a 450. He declined in the ring post 1997 though. From 1990-1995ish, he could do it all in the ring athletically. How many guys could do a moonsault holding another wrestler? Then he added on the muscle and down he went

Various interviews, and on his twitter feed. So, now I think it might be an idea to try to work the guy for some more stories about The Ryback.

Steiner's awesomeness was so much greater than Sid's that Sid's leg literally burst into pieces trying to kick Steiner in the chest. Its true, its true...

lol. Sid is notorious for no showing events if a softball game conflicts with it. Heard that tidbit in a Sunny shoot I believe...

Even with the muscles he managed to pull off the top rope Frankensteiner late in his WCW career. I think it was either DDP or Booker T he hit with it. He didn't have a chance on hell of pulling off the standing one mind...

Nah. I love me some Steiner, but that was one of the worst finishers going. More embarrassing than painful-looking, with you on your hands and knees and him sitting on your back. The Camel Clutch at least looked as if it could work, with your back being stretched.

This is apparently Steiner's 450, from 1987. He's skinny as fuck

He does trip as he lands, which possibly wasn't the desired result...

He could still do the top rope version up til the end of his TNA run
