Haha, wasn't my fault they were around. Flew home to be with the family Thanksgiving. My mom and little sister where the reason there were so many options available. It was my fault for eating so damn many of them tho lol
Wanna stay in touch as we both try make weigh without having to resort to saunas and hot baths? I had eggs and toast this morning, that way if shit goes wrong with the flying I'm not in a bad mood and hungry. Thinking about skipping lunch entirely since I'll be in another airport at that time and don't feel like paying 12 bucks for a shitty salad. Then seeing how I feel this evening and maybe even skipping dinner to try and balance out a little before just eating right the next couple days. Lots of water already today and I'll be keeping that up.

Tough to hear about the ACL. I think the biggest I could possibly get if i wanted would be 165. I'd lose the abs at that point which isn't really an issue to me, but I still wouldn't be getting too fat. Much more than that and I'd be afraid I'd be on my way to being the fatty I used to be (215 pounds last summer). Good powerlifting numbers have never been my goal, just using basically powerlifting plans to make myself stronger again since that's the best method.

Sure. What's your height btw? I'm 5'6" so it may be easier for me to make 145.
I'm down to 157lbs now with hippo*. Basically, I'm cutting out all meat besides fish (I'm home for the holidays, so free groceries ), eating small meals 5 times a day, with the biggest one in the morning. Mostly brown rice, fish, egg whites, steamed vegetables, nuts etc.
I've also started jogging 5 miles every morning in addition to daily BJJ and Judo practice. Simple, but it works. If I don't make weight by the 2nd, oh well, at least I'll be in good shape.
*I'm using a small soapstone hippopotomus to simulate the weight of a gi

Haha, the hippo is funny. I just double and triple check how much my gi adds, then know I have to be 3.5 lbs under. The running bit should help you a lot. I don't have time for that with my work schedule. I do bjj every weeknight for 2 hours so hopefully I get enough calorie burn there.
I'm 5'8" and was 160.2 this morning. Need to make 149 by Saturday. Nice on the free groceries. I'll be eating nothing but chicken breast grilled on a foreman with a little olive oil for my main this week. I've got to head back to work so I generally bring in leftovers of whatever I had the night before for lunch.
Been chugging water, currently sitting in the DC airport waiting for my 2nd flight. Wonderful people watching. Still not hungry since I basically stuffed my face for 4 days so I didn't go for an overpriced lunch. Might grill some chicken tonight for dinner if I have time, or just some canned tuna on whole wheat crackers if I just want to go to sleep after I finally get back to my apartment. Planning on 3 eggs and milk tomorrow for breakfast, then buying a salad and apple at the cafeteria for lunch.

How are you doing? I was 156 this morning so I think I'm on pace to make it. Started a little diet log for the week in the sub forum. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out which one is me by the title

Don't cry. You're already at a normal weight, it'll go away eventually.
Just be happy you aren't a fat ass who takes weeks to get rid of water weight.

Down to 151 already. And it turns out featherweight is 150 at this tournament, so only 4lbs to go.

Nice, I was 154.2 this morning so same as you, about 4 pounds left to lose. But these are the real ones now. Still feeling like I'm gonna make it with ease. Sucky week of chicken and veggies, but I got to enjoy so much freaking pie last week Worth it?... I think so. Maybe not worth the 4th slice of pie each night, but definitely the first three

Here's my diet log of the week
http://www.sherdog.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2315599
Would anyone give feedback? I'm hoping I don't have to limit the water too much Friday and maybe can eat whole wheat pasta with dinner, and then maybe a decent breakfast and still make 149 4 hours after breakfast. Thoughts?
Best thing is, this week has been utterly stress free which is beautiful. My first two tournaments where keeping me up with all sorts of worries at night and constantly on my mind during the day. This peace is nice
