I would hope Chandler could keep it standing and get up if taken down using his wrestling skills to try and knock him out but Askren could prob. take him down and control him to win a decision.

How'd the grappling go between him and Penn if you don't mind me asking?

This would be a Bellator Superfight. I hope Chandler would win if it were to happen.

Am I the only one that isn't bored watching Askren fight? He does the craziest shit ever that shouldn't even work or be possible, and he makes it look so easy. I remember one fight he got himself mounted just so he could take it to the ground, and flipped the guy over like it was nothing. Who does shit like that?

Maybe it's because I like to watch masters perform their craft. IE I'm not an Eric Clapton fan, but I'll go to his concert in a heartbeat, because seeing him fingerbang a guitar like that is just incredible.

Either way, I think Askren gets way too much shit. People that complain about his style just seem like fairweather MMA fans to me.

100% agree. I could watch Askren grapple fuck his opponents all day. Anyone that even remotely understands wrestling and Bjj should appreciate just how easy Askren makes it look. I'll take an Askren fight over a Leonard Garcia "swing for fences" any day.

meh.. i think a superfight is relative to a persons perception of super.

but i'd say asken grapplefucks chandler if it happened. would much rather see them fight guys at their own weight classes.
