Excellent. Looking forward to it. Can you also touch on your recommendations for programming the floor press as an assistance movement?

It seems like a fairly straightforward movement but I'm sure there are details I'm not appreciating so it'd be good to see a full break down on it. I'd really like to use it as an assistance movement as any isolated tricep work riles my left elbow up something fierce.

Hey Kyle I sent an e-mail to the powers at be of the IPF and they said that under no circumstances will they ban someone from their federation because some non-affiliated third party claims they saw said person take anabolic steroids. In addition they said I should file a report with WNPF, which I have no qualms in doing so.

On travel days do you pack your meals in advance?

Good to hear; the IPF wouldn't be a credible organization if they told you anything but this. I can't imagine an organization banning someone based on conjecture.

Anyway, glad to hear it's sorted out. Politics are a part of the sport, but I try to steer as clear of them as possible.

Not really--I just eat at whatever time's available to me. Usually it works out; if the situation is less than ideal, I just suck it up and try to get it done anyway. Training under less than perfect conditions and still performing well can make you psychologically stronger.

Indeed. But do you eat at restaurants and such or how do you work it out?

Usually I'll try not to eat out while traveling, unless it can't be helped. I'll instead just wait until I have an opportunity to make my own food. If I'm able to (like I was this past week), I'll schedule my flights between mealtimes; this allows for me to eat and train without and issues. Sometimes this means catching a 6am flight and arriving at 10:30 (like on Sunday), but at least then I don't have to worry about eating at the airport.

Thankfully, the days I spend traveling are few and far between, so this doesn't happen often. And if I do have to eat something at a restaurant, so be it.
