Yeah, but Irvin was a 30 year old fighter with 4 losses. More like a Dolloway than a Leben.

Forrest was a 30 year old (IMO fluke) champion. If Anderson Silva isn't in division, Yushin Okami could easily have been a champion for a fight or two like Forrest at 205

Stephan Bonner was a high potential guy from TUF that just ran into a wall of top contenders... just like Ed Herman (Maia, Belcher, Shields).

I agree with Dolloway as being the similar matchup for GSP as Irvin was for Silva, (suggested it myself earlier, lol) but think Leben better fills the older TUF guy known for being tough but not that great role of Bonnar better than Herman. Then Okami works, but for status sake it should be Franklin, who's age/time since being champ balances out the brevity/flukiness of Forrest's championship
