Muhammed Ali - from the moment a fight was arranged, would think deeply about every single aspect of the fight. His training camp, eating well, getting stronger, getting faster, training harder than his opponent, the run-up to the fight, walking into the arena, facing his opponent, touching gloves, the bell sounding, circling his opponent, landing those first strikes, feeling himself grow stronger... etc etc.
By the time the fight came, he'd done it so many times in his head... the actual act of carrying out the fight was simply going through the script.
He called this 'future history' - others call it 'positive visualization', and some 'manifestation'.
Remove all thoughts of losing from your mind - and go out there & write your own story.
KICK HIS ASS SEABASS!!! Good luck.

I used to do the same thing for pitching, helped me alot.
In fighting you will not have time to do that before each strike is thrown so do it beforehand. I have a fight coming up (not so soon) I think I will start picturing it now.
Lastly this guy is taking a step down in competition, from Semi Pro to AM, maybe he is really an AM guy who tried his hand at SemiPro and found he is not SemiPro material.

It was supposed to happen mid-December, turns out some of their guys couldn't make it due to "commitments" and so the date's been pushed back to Jan-Feb. It's annoying because despite my anxiousness I was looking forwards to it, but it does mean I've got more time to train and can look to cut down at a more relaxed pace.
But will be sure to let you guys know how it goes, definitely will try to get a vid or pics up !

What the fuck is semi-pro? he's pro or not, don't let that shit bug you out. If he's just more experienced as an amateur then that's worth noting but not a big deal. It's not easy to fight but fighting 4 or 5 times takes no more skill then fighting once. Amateur experience isn't anything to be afraid of so try to be confident and make sure you perform to the best of your potential.

OK, You are the underdog so what? You guys just play too much games... Amateur fights... nobody do all this overated gameplan, be a man, train like a man would, focus on your own skills, believe yourself, and if you lose, do it like a man. Fights arenīt for keyboards warriors, they īre for real. Donīt forget be sure to introduce the weight of your hand to your opponent.Besides all that good training, most you train, less you depend on lady luck.
