Nick Diaz disrespects muay thai

kind of makes me sad what he said cause I am a fan. i expect more of a martial artist.

I honestly don't care what his opinion on MT is since he's obviously ignorant about it.

It's more against GSP. He's hyping himself up and his enemy down, which is standard Nick Diaz procedure prior to fights; no need for despair. You could even say it's healthy.

He wasn't dissing muay thai, just GSP's general training strategy. Nick needs to do this, it's proper ritual prior to competing.

just typical Nick ranting, only mentions the kickboxing and the lack of money to be made in it compared to what GSP,Money & Pacman are making

What's hilarious is that his basis for considering Lam sup-par is that he doesn't make the kind of money Ward, GSP, Pac and PBF make, but that means that by his own logic, he's as irrelevant as Lam is.

Also, how can he diss GSP bringing in Lam when Nick brought in a fairly obscure MT practitioner to train for Carlos?

If you were to just judge MT off of what you can see in America; Nick is right, it's a joke. There are tons of people who did two years of MT in a casual gym and now proclaim themselves MT stylists. Now they run into Nick's gym to spar and this is what you get.

Something tells me Nick and Nate don't spend hours scouring the internet for obscure technical MT matches. Sure they may catch a HL here and there when something spectacular happens but in their little bubble MT/Kb is largely a weekend warrior sport.

maybe diaz should stop walking around with a permanent scowl on his face, looks like his dog died everyday.
maybe he should quit complaining about gsp training, after gsp beat condit right after nick failed.
