I watched them both wrestle in college.

To me Kos is better. Probobly because he is just a better athlete altogether.

Kos would have better credentials if it were not for a neck injury he had in college.

They are both great though.

Hendricks by a mile when it comes to pure wrestling. He has the best resume of any wrestler in MMA. He would own GSP in a pure wrestling match. However, I would love to see them tangle in the octagon.

Best resume of any wrestler is a stretch especially with guys like Lindland, Cormier, and King Mo who was an incredible freestyle wrestler competing in MMA.

Explosive doubles aren't a prerequisite for success in folkstyle wrestling. In fact, the majority of national champions really don't have explosive power takedowns, relatively speaking.
