Thompson, Lashley, Sapp, Prangley, Grove, Duffee, etc., all cost a lot more than "random Indian fighter". They simply weren't doing well enough with the big names to warrant keeping them. So, they switched to being an Indian-specific development league. They'll have fighters from other countries, but the majority will be "local".
