How fast will I lose this Thanksgiving bloat?

So I ate like an utter and complete pig Wednesday and of course, Thursday. I Normally wake up at 152 lbs, this morning I was 157 and didn't drink nearly as much water yesterday as I normally do either. I've got a Bjj competition coming up Saturday, Dec 1st where I'd like to fight at featherweight (149.9) Normally this isn't a problem and I just clean up my eating for a few days and make sure I don't drink too much the day before. I'll have like 3-4 hours after weigh ins where I'll eat a bagel, drink some water, and then snack on some trail mix.

Problem is, I'm still home for the holidays so looking at a minimum of big, carby dinners Friday and Sat with desserts. And that's if I can avoid all the treats sitting out constantly. My question is will I be ok to make weight in a week, even if I eat 3,000 calories the next two days? Or should I just say forget it and pay the $20 "processing" fee and move up a weight class so that I can enjoy all the food and company without any stress in the back of my mind?

Also, I know can do the whole nothing but grilled chicken and veggies thing and feel ok Monday through Friday to try and drop the bloat. Just not sure it will be enough because I don't want to do anything more drastic than that.

tl;dr- Can what will be 10 pounds of bloat after 4 days of huge eating be dropped in 5 days?

Update: I'm doing bad at avoiding the treats. Lunch today was a big turkey sandwhich, perfectly fine, but had a slice of pumpkin pie and quite a bit of homemade cookie dough as well. Lasagna, cheesy garlic bread, and brownies are already being prepped for dinner tonight and I just made plans to hit the bars for drinks with the old hockey team.

Haha in that case I would pay the $20 processing fee and compete in the weight class above. Sounds like you are having a good time and enjoying life while you are young and still able to, just keep at it.

It's possible, but not probable. I'd definitely opt to pay the $20 processing fee to move up. Let this be a lesson to you to not compete right after Thanksgiving

Haha, I know. If it were next weekend this wouldn't be a problem, but I really wanted to compete again before Christmas and this was the only option.

Looks like I'll have to go against bigger guys which sucks for my game but aw well. I always have to spar against bigger guys in the gymanyway

Welcome to my life :/ I have a pretty decent top game, but I don't get to work it as much as I want because everyone is about 20-70 lbs heavier than I am. I wish I was 6'5", 300 lbs.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I went from 157 to 165 over thanksgiving...I have to make 143+gi (=145) by the 2nd. I'm not eating crappy food though...just lots of semi-crappy food (turkey, stuffing etc.). What are you doing to lose weight?

Yeah, I remember you saying once you had a similar build as me. I'm 5'8" and surprisingly strong for (normally) being in the low 150s which people who roll against me don't believe. I'd love to even have just a few inches to justify another 20-30 pounds without having to completely tank myself on a bulk.

Man, I wish I had just overeaten on turkey and stuffing. It was the desserts that got me. Wednesday was an entire 7 oz bag of pecan pralines, Thursday was 4 slices of pie, Friday was somewhere around a dozen cookies... did a little better today but still overate and had 2 desserts. Woke up at 161.

Man, you where originally planning on dropping 9 real pounds on top of the bloat? Damn, do you not do same day weigh ins? Anyway, I'm planning on my normal easy cutting routine and seeing where I am by Wednesday morning. Its nothing special, but I just stick to 1lb grilled chicken, 4-6 servings veggies, 2 fruits, and 2 glasses of milk a day. There's no sodium in there and I drink about 2 gal water a day. This causes my weight to dive bomb but I'm not sure that'll be enough this time and I don't want to underfeed myself or do any sort of serious water cut. My goaline is back to 155 by Wed morning, then I'll continue going and drop the water the day before to make featherweight. If not I'll go back to eating complex carbs and go in feeling good, if undersized, at lightweight (<160).

Yeah, weigh-ins 3 hours before the match, so serious cutting isn't an option. I'm just gonna eat right and see what happens, maybe cut if get down to 147ish.
Also, a word of advice, stop buying desserts/dessert ingredients lol.

I used to be in the mid 150s, but I've recently let myself go all the way up to the high 160s . I just got addicted to making rapid progress on my squat after the ~8 months I had to take off because of my ACL. The best way to squat more is to eat more, after all ;)
